NICAS Pro Connects: South Wales
We’re thrilled to announce our upcoming NICAS Pro Connects: South Wales event!
This focused networking and discussion event, hosted by Dynamic Rock, is designed for climbing walls and operators in the South Wales area. Taking place on Thursday 5th June 2025, this Pro Connect gathering will be hosted by Head of Commercial Partnerships Tom Vaessen-Walker joined by Access Sport and our event sponsors Kong Climbing, Lime Street Insurance Brokers and Petzl.
This exclusive event will provide a platform for owners, managers and course directors of walls to discuss their NICAS Schemes and share ways grow the local youth market and gain insights from NICAS on customised solutions for programme delivery, staffing, and operational needs.
We are also excited to announce that from this event going forward, we are partnering with Access Sport to deliver, as part of the event, their inclusive training workshop that will be required to become a NICAS Ascend provider. This training session will be completely FOC to all that attend the NICAS Pro Connects event, however if any walls are in a position to make a donation, then you will be able to do so at the event. All donations will be used to provide more training to support the NICAS Ascend roll out in future events.
The day will start with coffee, pastries, and an open forum, creating the perfect space for discussion and idea-sharing. A 30-minute lunch break, provided by Dynamic Rock, will offer attendees the chance to network and dive into individual topics with the NICAS team and fellow wall operators. At 4 PM, we’ll head onto the walls at Dynamic Rock for a climb—continuing conversations, sharing experiences, and strengthening connections over some quality climbing time!
The event is supported by Kong Climbing and Lime Street Active Insurance who will be at the event to talk about their latest products, services and give input into discussions. During our post event climb, you will be able to chat to the team any questions you may have. Petzl will also be joining us after lunch and will be hosting a Petzl Belay Session after the event, into the evening, for coaches and customers!
It’s a fantastic opportunity to connect with like-minded operators, gain valuable insights, and strengthen the climbing community in the South Wales area.
