NICAS Ascend at the ABC Conference

The countdown is on! In 7 days’ time – on Thursday 19 September – we are really looking forward to showcasing NICAS Ascend at the ABC Conference. Will you be there? Come and join our immersive session where our team will guide you through hands-on interactions with our latest scheme.

NICAS Ascend has been designed for and tried and tested with disabled and neurodivergent climbers. It’s the brainchild of Sarah Jones, a climbing coach with a background in disability sport and teaching. Sarah was inspired by her brother Zac to look into how to adapt climbing opportunities for young people with complex needs. Together with Sarah, we are keen to make the resulting framework available to as many people as possible who could benefit.

More details about NICAS Ascend and the related training needs are going to be presented for the first time at the ABC Conference (on Thursday 19th at 3.30pm). From there, plans to roll out the product will be finalised and shared.

ABC Conference: Magna Centre, Rotherham 19th – 20th September 2024
